Employment Term
Based on the results of the selection process, one of the following employment terms will apply:
- One-year term: Non-renewable
- Renewable annually: Up to one renewal (maximum of 2 years)
- Renewable annually: Up to two renewals (maximum of 3 years)

Trial Period: 3 months (same working conditions as regular employment)
Qualifications
Applicants must meet one or more of the following:
- Hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in English education (TESOL/TEFL, etc.), or be expected to obtain one by the start date.
- Possess equivalent knowledge and skills.
- Hold CELTA/DELTA certification.

Additional requirements:
- Ability to teach classes in English.
- Demonstrated achievements in English education.
- Ability to lead and actively participate in domestic and international programs with students.
- Commitment to learner-centered, active learning aligned with the university’s educational philosophy.
- Ability and willingness to engage in first-year education (e.g., academic skills) and collaborative projects with companies.
- Understanding and support of the university’s Christian-based educational philosophy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or ability to design, evaluate, and improve programs and curricula based on data.
- Study or work experience abroad is desirable.
- Preferably, over one year of study or living experience in an English-speaking country.
Compensation
In accordance with Baiko Gakuin University’s employment and salary regulations.
Selection Process
1. First Round: Document screening
2. Second Round: Interview, mock lesson, and aptitude test
- The second round may be conducted online. In such cases, the final interview will be held in person, and travel expenses will be covered.
- The aptitude test must be completed online before the second round.
Second round interviews will be conducted as needed.
