Job Title: Bilingual Program Director – Bilingual After-School Academy
Employment Type: Full-Time (正社員) – 6-month probation period (試用期間6ヶ月)
Expected Start Date: October 1, 2025 (negotiable based on candidate availability)
Work Location: On-site – Setagaya-ku, Tokyo (7–8 minutes from Komazawa-Daigaku Station)
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (includes 1-hour break)
Shift-based scheduling may apply during spring, summer, and winter holiday periods.
Days Off: Saturdays, Sundays, and national public holidays
Paid Leave: Annual paid leave and all legally mandated leave Holidays: Approx. 120+ holidays per year

Position Summary:
EON Kids Academy is seeking a Bilingual Program Director with the aspiration to lead and grow a purpose-driven educational venture. As part of a small start-up team, you will take charge of after-school program operations, compliance, budgeting, and curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Lead academic, operational, and financial strategies for high-impact program delivery
Collaborate with the Founder and senior team to shape long-term direction

Curriculum Oversight:
Supervise the development and execution of our bilingual, project-based curriculum
Align learning goals with both Japanese and international educational standards

Teacher Recruitment & Development:
Hire, train, and support a team of bilingual educators
Create systems for coaching, performance feedback, and professional growth

Enrollment & Parent Engagement:
Develop and execute marketing and admissions strategies
Serve as the key contact for parents and guardians

Financial & Risk Management:
Oversee budget planning, cost control, and resource optimization
Ensure long-term sustainability through smart operations

Compliance & Safety:
Ensure compliance with child safety, MEXT standards, and local government regulations
Create and implement safety protocols, manuals, and emergency drills

Qualifications:
Education:
Master’s in Education, Educational Leadership, or Business preferred
Bachelor’s degree accepted with strong leadership experience in school settings

Language:
Fluent English (C1+)
Business-level Japanese (N2+) required for communication with parents, vendors, and local authorities

Experience:
Minimum 3 years in school leadership, educational administration, or bilingual program management
Familiarity with Japanese education policies and operational compliance
Experience in project management, teacher support, hiring, budgeting

Skills:
Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills
Ability to work flexibly in a start-up environment
Cross-cultural understanding and passion for child-centered education
