Job Title: Curriculum Creator / Head Instructor – Bilingual After-School Program
Employment Type: Full-Time (正社員) – 6-month probation period (試用期間6ヶ月)
Expected Start Date: October 1, 2025 (can be adjusted depending on candidate availability)
Work Location: On-site – Setagaya-ku, Tokyo ( 7-8 minutes from Komazawa-Daigaku Station )
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 11:00–20:00 (includes 1-hour break). Shifts may vary during school holidays.
Reports to: Bilingual Program Director (to be appointed)
Salary: ¥3,600,000–¥5,400,000/year (based on experience and skills)
Holidays: Weekends, National Holidays, Paid Leave

Position Overview:
EON Kids Academy is seeking a Curriculum Creator / Head Instructor who is passionate about designing engaging, bilingual learning experiences that go beyond traditional academics. As a key member of our small start-up team, you will lead the development and delivery of our English immersion curriculum for elementary-aged children.
We are looking for an experienced educator to develop, deliver, and continuously improve an immersive English curriculum for children aged 6–12. The role blends curriculum design, classroom teaching, and collaboration with the leadership team in a creative, fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Development:
Design English-based lessons aligned with diverse learning levels.
Create task-based learning activities focused on communication, critical thinking, and leadership.
Refine and adapt the curriculum based on feedback and student needs.
Teaching & Instruction:
Lead engaging lessons using multi-sensory methods (e.g., storytelling, group projects, role-play).
Track student growth through portfolios and simple evaluation tools.
Communicate with parents and team members on student development.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required (Education, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or related fields).
Master’s or PhD in Education or a related field strongly preferred.
Equivalent teaching and curriculum development experience will also be considered.
English: Fluent or native-level English proficiency (C1+).
Japanese: Conversational ability (N3 level or equivalent) is preferred for communication with parents and team members.
Experience:
Experience in curriculum design or instructional planning.
Strong classroom facilitation and behavior management skills.
Familiarity with project-based or differentiated learning is a plus.
Willingness to contribute to the development of a new educational program in a start-up setting.
