We are currently seeking a part-time English instructor. In this role, you will be teaching online group lessons to high school students who wish to study abroad in English-speaking countries. Each group typically contains 3-6 students, who are assigned to each class according to their English skills. The group lessons are taught based on the curriculum designed by the school staff., , Job details: , Position: English Teacher (English Speaker proficiency, Japanese Speaking ability or living in Japan), Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere - inside of Japan) but need access to stable internet and a computer, , Responsibilities:, - Conducting all-in-English group lessons online, - Reading English articles and lesson instructions to prepare for each class, - Checking students' attendance, - Proofreading students’ writing assignments and application essays, - Other duties you may be required, - Helping translation, - Organizing or participating in English-learning events, - Helping the development of teaching materials/curriculum, - Answering questions from students, - Helping students prepare for interviews in English, - Other duties related to students’ English learning and college application, , Requirements, - Fluent English speaker, - Basic skills to communicate in Japanese, - Ready to work at least once a week on a weekday, - Stable Internet connection to work from home, - Basic ICT skills such as using Google Workspace, zoom and slack, - Experience in academic writing in English, - Strong sense of responsibility, - Willing to help students patiently even if they are not fluent speakers of English, - Interpersonal skills to create bonds with students, , Desirable, - Have interest in English education, - Experience teaching IELTS/TOEFL, - Experience teaching English to high school students, - Experience conducting online classes, , Benefits and Conditions, - Work-type: part-time, - Salary: ¥2,200~ / hour - Work on weekdays, at least once a week, - For each day you work, you are supposed to work 1-3 hours between 11 am and 9 pm, - Work from home, , For details and How to Apply, please click here , https://open.talentio.com/r/1/c/nnn-ac/pages/73149, njuku_abroad@nnn.ac.jp
