The Kanto Association of Language Teachers presented its fourth program
of the year on the teaching of English, and, like the previous programs,
it was enjoyable, informative, and especially provocative. Nobuo and Carol
Akiyama, who had given an abbreviated demonstration of Dr. Caleb Gattegno's
"Silent Way" technique in February, came back to give a fuller treatment on
July 23 and 24 at the Matsushita National AV Center in Tokyo.
