Teaching Roles
1. Teach Mathematics Analysis and Approaches to grades 11 and 12 IB Diploma Programme Classes
2. Teach math to grades 9 and 10 students
3.Carry out homeroom duties

Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or higher in mathematics education or related courses
2. Possession of Junior high school or high school teaching qualification/license in the subject advertised
3. At least 2 years of experience teaching mathematics to junior and senior high school students, experience teaching IB Diploma Programme mathematics AA, preferred
4. Second language instruction experience and or qualifications, an advantage
5. Competence with computer, tablet, internet and social media related technology
6. Commitment to teach at the school for a minimum of 2 years
7. Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively across multiple cultures

Remuneration and benefits
Salary for the person who has teaching experience of more than 2 years and satisfies the above position requirements;

1. Yearly income from ¥3,500,000 to ¥4,500,000 (depending on number of years teaching relevant subject/s).
All bonus and housing allowance payments are included in the monthly salary indicated above

3. Travel Allowance: Up to 100,000 yen will be paid to the employee relocating within Japan.

5 For teachers without children, there are free dormitories available on the campus site. (Teachers who chose to live in the dormitory are required to undertake some minor supervision duties for a small number of dormitory students in the evening).

Working hours / conditions
Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (40 min lunch break) and some Saturdays and Sundays for scheduled school events
Teaching up to twenty 50-minute classes per week + lesson preparation time
After hours work occasionally required from Monday-Friday for special classes, club activities, meetings and
event preparation

 Winter holiday (2 weeks)
 Summer holiday (3 weeks)
 School holidays

2 Paid holidays
 10 days leave for 1 calendar year, after 6 months working at the school
 Maternity leave, bereavement leave
 Make up holidays will be provided in lieu of school events such as open school, and entrance examinations conducted on public holidays. Dates may be confirmed via the annual school schedule.
