This is a part-time on-site role for an English Language Instructor located in Kita Senju, Adachi-ku. The English Language Instructor will be responsible for teaching English language lessons to students of various levels, creating lesson plans, and incorporating educational materials into the curriculum to enhance the learning experience.
As this is a part-time position applicants must hold a valid working visa, while currently residing in Japan. Applicants from outside Japan will NOT be considered and no visa support or assistance will be offered. Applicants who meet the criteria and are currently located within reasonable commuting distance are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications & Conditions
* Valid Visa for working in Japan
* Applicants MUST reside in Japan & be located within reasonable commuting distance to the school
* At least 5 years experience in language teaching and have solid general teaching skills
* A proven track record of success within the field of language teaching
* Experience in lesson planning & materials design
* Educational background in language education or related field
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
* Passion for language instruction and cultural exchange
* Previous experience in teaching English language is a must
* CELTA/DELTA certification in language instruction or education is preferred
* Salary starts at ¥3000 per hour (contact hours only)
* Initial 3 months probation period with potential for a salary increase
