We are hiring a Science instructor for our Junior and Senior High school in downtown Tokyo.
・ Monday to Saturday (with one day work from home), up to 20 teaching hours per week.
・ Duties include solo teaching, course planning, student assessment, faculty meetings and administrative tasks including homeroom duties.
・ Secondary school experience, education degree preferred.
・ Native level fluency in English required.
・ Some Japanese ability an asset but not required.
・ Applicants currently residing in Japan are preferred.
・ Applicants to be considered for positions beginning April 2025
・ One-year contract renewable with no fixed term limits available with mutual agreement. Permanent positions (following a two-year trial) available for qualified applicants.
・ All employees are enrolled in the national health system.
・ Salary according to school regulations based on age, experience and qualifications.
