Teacher for Adults & Children (Saitama, Koshigaya)

Fleming (www.e-fleming.com) is a Canadian run school with over 25 years in the Koshigaya area. We are looking for an energetic and passionate teacher for 6 Adult lessons and 1 Children’s lesson on Saturday from 10:00 am-6:00 pm. Compensation: From 15,400 to 17,500 yen per day & travel compensation up to 1,000 yen/day.

Requirements:
Successful applicants will have Native-level English speaking ability and a university degree. No Japanese ability required. At least two years of experience teaching adults and children in Japan is required. Applicants must be living in Japan with a proper visa and be able to attend an interview in person. Applicants should be well-versed in excel and PowerPoint.

Duties:
Teachers will be in charge of six 50-minute adult classes of either beginner or intermediate level and 1 50-minute children’s lesson at the preschool level. We have large, well-ventilated classes with a limit of four students per class. We have structured beginner lessons but our intermediate lessons are much more open and conversational. When not in class, teachers are required to develop materials, plan lessons, or other teaching related tasks.
