University Teaching in Japan! (4/30)

We are seeking highly motivated educators to teach English at universities in Japan.

Job details: 

We are now recruiting instructors for the Spring 2018 term.

***** UNIVERSITY PROGRAM *****
1) QUALIFICATIONS:
- University graduate with a bachelor's and/or more advanced degree, plus one of the following:
a) experience teaching EFL/ESL in a classroom environment, along with a teaching certificate (TEFL/TESL/TESOL) and/or teaching credentials or qualifications (elementary/primary/secondary)
b) 1000+ hours of EFL/ESL classroom teaching experience in lieu of teaching certificates, credentials or qualifications
* No Japanese language ability is required.

2) CONTRACT PERIOD:
- SPRING TERM -- April / May to July (approx. 3 to 4 months)
- FALL TERM -- September to December / January (approx. 3 to 5 months)

3) LOCATION:
Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama, and Aichi

4) COMPENSATION:
- Approximately 260,000 yen per month for instructors with a teaching certificate or qualification, but less than 499 hours of actual classroom teaching experience
- Approximately 275,000 yen per month or more for instructors with a teaching certificate or qualification who have 500+ hours of actual classroom teaching experience
- Approximately 275,000 yen per month or more for instructors who have 1000+ hours of actual classroom teaching experience in lieu of teaching qualifications
*Note: Compensation is based on an hourly rate of pay. Exact monthly earnings fluctuate but over the course of a contract period average out to the figures listed above.

5) OTHER:
- HOUSING is provided. We can arrange a furnished single apartment with a rental fee of 81,000 yen per month (utilities and maintenance fees included).
- FLIGHT REIMBURSEMENT of up to 1200 USD is offered for those coming from overseas.
- WORKING VISA SPONSORSHIP is available.
- RENEWABLE contract.

We are also looking for candidates with the following background and experience:
- Master's degree or higher
- Total 3 years’ experience (6 or more terms/semesters) in teaching at university/community college (all subjects)

Part-Time Kids’ English Teacher on Sunday Mornings (Wako City, Saitama) (4/30/2018)

Teach 4 small classes of young children of a study group from 9:00 - 12:40 every Sunday morning. Pay: 12,000~15,000/per day depending on experience and qualifications. 

Job details: 

Time: Every Sunday morning 9:00~12:35 (with 5-minute breaks between classes).
Location: Wako City, Saitama Prefecture.
Class: 4 classes of children aged 4~10. Each class has 3 ~ 6 students.
Pay: 12000 ~ 15000 Yen/day.

The teacher we are looking for:
1.Native English-level proficiency is preferred.
2.Must have experiences in teaching young children.
3.Experiences with Let's Go series.
4.Preferably will continue to stay in Japan for more than 1 year.
Any kind of ELT degree, certificate or training experience will be a plus.

Adjunct Professor of Communication at Lakeland University Japan (5/1)

Teach one or more Communication course, September 3-December 6, 2018

Lakeland University Japan, a US college branch campus seeks an Adjunct Professor of Communications to teach from September-December 2018 at our Tokyo (Shinjuku) Campus.
Duties: Teach various Communications courses. Courses meet 3 hours per week (class meets 2 or 3 times per week; class times are flexible based on instructor’s availability); be available for 1-2 office hours per week.
Qualifications: Masters degree in Business, Finance, or related field required (Ph.D. preferred); college-level teaching experience is required; must currently reside in Japan with a valid visa.
**Applicants who do not have a Master’s degree in an appropriate field or do not live in Japan will not be considered.**
