Position Overview
A private school in Yokohama is seeking a qualified and motivated English teacher for a part-time position beginning in April 2026. The role involves teaching junior and senior high school students (grades 7–12) and supporting their English language development in a positive and engaging learning environment.
Main Duties
Teach 12–16 English classes (45 minutes each) per week over 4–5 days
Prepare lessons and teaching materials
Correct homework and grade assignments and exams
Supervise students during exams and contribute to curriculum activities
Requirements
English: Native level
Japanese: Business level (fluency required)
Must currently reside in Japan
English and Japanese resume required

Compensation
Monthly salary: ¥162,000 – ¥291,800
Salary commensurate with the number of weekly classes
