SENRI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF KWANSEI GAKUIN is seeking a full-time, middle/high school, native English-level teacher of English and ESL to join a dedicated team of teachers working in an international and vibrant school community from April 2026.
We would like to hear from native level, qualified professionals with experience teaching at both the middle and high school level. Some Japanese ability is also preferred. Examples of teaching qualifications include: a teaching license or certificate from your home country, an advanced degree in ESL or Education, etc.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include teaching English and ESL to students ranging from 7th grade true beginners to 12th grade bilingual returnees. The successful applicant will be expected to teach pre-existing courses but also be given the opportunity to create some challenging, engaging and thought-provoking new ones for HS students. This is NOT a team-teaching position: teacher autonomy and responsibilities are roughly comparable to those of a teacher at a western secondary or tertiary school. Candidates must be prepared to perform all the duties pertaining to full-time teachers in a Japanese school, including but not limited to homeroom, parent-teacher conferences, club or sports activities, entrance exams, etc.
