Teaching courses related to English (such as “Academic English,” “IBDP ENGLISH,” “Advanced Academic English”, etc.). You may also be asked to teach other subjects related to the International Baccalaureate program.
1. Job description
(1) Work duties are equivalent to that of a full-time faculty member
(2) English instruction, including guidance for studying abroad
(3) University duties such as entrance examinations and open campus events
2.Term of appointment
Renewable annually, with a maximum extension of five years.
3.Salary, etc
Annual salary, commuting allowance, event allowance, and entrance examination
allowance (no retirement allowance will be paid).
4.Qualification
: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
(1) Native-level proficiency in English.
(2) A Master's degree or higher in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field.
(3) Those who agree with the department's three policies and are willing to work towards their implementation.(4) Those who have academic research achievement
(5) Those who can be actively involved in internal affairs (including admissions, open campus, exchange study abroad programs and international baccalaureate education)
(6) Those who have experience of teaching English at university. (Experience at an
educational or research institution in an English-speaking country is desirable).
(7) Able to reside in a commutable location.
5. Documents to submit
(1) Curriculum vitae (CV).
(2) List of academic achievements.
(3) Three major academic works, including at least one related to education.
(4) A syllabus outlining all 15 sessions of the “Academic English” course for freshman students.
(5) A statement of purpose in English (approximately 800 words) describing how your past research can contribute to an international teacher education program.
(6) The names and contact information of two referees who can be contacted regarding the applicant.
