MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
-Teach English classes
-Use teaching approaches that focus on active learning
-Develop materials for classes and share these with colleagues as part of the ongoing development of the program
-Carry out assessment as per the assessment model developed by the school
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Applications that do not 100% meet these requirements will not be considered.
-Bachelor’s degree in English language teaching or related discipline
-Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Degree (or equivalent)
-Teaching license issued from home country for working in public schools
-At least 3 years full-time experience teaching in public or private secondary school
-Advanced English proficiency
-Mental and physical fitness to adequately and consistently perform position responsibilities
-No history with child protection issues
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
-Master’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline
-Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP)
-Experience with 21st century teaching and learning practices
-Japanese language proficiency
SALARY & BENEFITS
Our school offers competitive salary and benefits, exceeding 400,000 JPY per month and an annual travel allowance. Details will be provided upon job offer.
