Job details: 

We are recruiting highly motivated, flexible and customer-oriented EFL teachers to teach elementary school students and / or junior high school / high school students at our Iidabashi or Musashi-Kosugi Teaching Centres.

You need to be qualified to at least certificate level or preferably diploma level (i.e. CELTA or DELTA or equivalent) and have 2 or more years of teaching experience, gained through teaching relevant levels and age groups. Young Learner qualifications (e.g. TYLEC, YL extension to CELTA, PGCE or equivalent) are also desirable.

These roles are only open to applicants who currently have permission to live and work in Japan. Please note that if your current working visa is under the ‘Other’ category (e.g. Professor, Instructor, Artist) you will need to apply for permission to work under the category (Engineer / Specialist in Humanities / International Services).

Hourly-paid scale:

4,484 yen/hour for teachers with a CELTA or equivalent
4,993 yen/hour for teachers with a DELTA or equivalent

- Payment for preparation for lessons and marking is included in the hourly rate and will not be paid separately.
