Seeking a qualified and experienced instructor to join our English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program for the upcoming term. The primary role of the instructor is to prepare Japanese students (ages 16–22) for academic success at colleges and universities abroad.
Teach classes Monday through Friday (Morning or Afternoon), design lesson plans, administer assessments, grade course assignments, and maintain regular office hours for student support. The Contract is for a 2 semester. period from January 5, 2027 – July 30, 2027. Salary.¥340,000 – ¥370,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Education & Credentials: Master’s degree in TESOL (or a related field) preferred. Experience: demonstrated experience teaching in Japanese high school or university-preparatory students are also preferred.
Residency & Visa: Must currently reside in the Greater Tokyo area and hold a valid Japanese working visa with teaching authorization. Applicants may be requested to complete a sample lesson plan packet as part of the evaluation process. Candidates will be invited for an interview at the NIC Tokyo Campus or via Zoom.
