Full-time temporary English teaching position in Himeji, starting late January 2027, with strong potential for extension for one year or longer. Seeking a caring, reliable educator with experience or a background in Early Childhood Education and working with young learners.
Bears Garden is looking for a **caring, responsible, and enthusiastic English teacher** to join our preschool and after-school program in Himeji, Hyogo.
This is a **full-time temporary position starting in late January 2027**, initially for approximately **one month**, with the possibility of extension to a **one-year or longer contract**.
### Position
The teacher will work with children approximately **1.5 to 12 years old**, with a main focus on preschool and Early Childhood Education.
Main responsibilities include teaching English, supporting daily preschool routines and childcare, preparing educational materials, and participating in school activities and events.
Our school has an **established curriculum and lesson plans**, and teachers are expected to follow the school's program and teaching approach. Creativity and ideas are welcome while working within the established plans.
### Qualifications
We are particularly interested in candidates with:
* Experience and/or education in **Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, or teaching young learners**
* Experience working with preschool-aged children
* Strong English communication skills
* A positive, responsible, flexible, and team-oriented attitude

### Working Conditions
**Full-time:** Up to 40 hours per week
**Location:** Himeji, Hyogo
**Start:** Late January 2027
**Basic salary:** ¥260,000/month
An additional financial support allowance may be available.
Japanese health insurance and pension enrollment are provided in accordance with Japanese regulations.
For candidates who continue under a **long-term contract**, additional benefits may include **two annual bonuses and other employment benefits**.
