Job details:
Meiji-SBA is recruiting part-time lecturers for AY 2027 who can teach pre-intermediate-level English on the general English education program and/or academic skills courses including IELTS/TOEFL on the Global Resources English Applied Track (GREAT) program.

 Location: Meiji University, Izumi Campus (Meidaimae Station)
 All courses are held for 100 minutes once per week for 14-week semesters.
 Classes are held on weekdays between 9:00am and 7:00pm but the day and period is flexible.
 Pay depends on qualifications and experience.
 Positions are offered on a yearly basis, renewable by mutual agreement (maximum age 70).

Job description and duties
 Teaching pre-intermediate English courses, IELTS/TOEFL, and/or academic skills courses.
 Additional Duties: Course preparation, grading, administering class examinations, giving feedback to students, and responding to student inquiries related to coursework.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet all the following requirements:
1. Education: A Master’s degree or higher in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, English Literature, Education, or a related field or MBA obtained from an accredited institution in an English-speaking country or region.
2. Experience: At least three years of experience teaching English at a university in Japan.
3. Publications: A minimum of one academic publication.
4. Language Proficiency: High proficiency in English, including the ability to teach classes in English.
