[職務内容]当該学部開講の英語科目担当

[担当科目]
一般及び学術英語の科目を担当していただきます。
英語AI/AII (1年生 リーディング及びライティング)
英語BI/BII (1年生 リスニング及びスピーキング)
アカデミック英語α I-III (2年生 アカデミックライティング)
アカデミック英語 βI-III (2年生 ディスカッション及びプレゼンテーション)　等
(欧州言語共通参照枠(CEFR) A2-C1 相当のクラスをお願いする場合があります。)

[職責]
1) 大学のカリキュラムおよび各科目のシラバスに基づく、英語による授業の準備・実施。
2) 必要に応じ、授業用教材の作成および／または既存教材の改編・調整。
3) 学生の学習状況を評価し、適切なフィードバックの提供。
4) 成績評価、出席管理、その他授業に関連する事務業務。
5) 所定の会議等への参加。
6) 授業の実施および学生の学習状況について、担当コーディネーターあるいは関係する教員との適切な連絡・連携。
7) 学生一人ひとりの学びを尊重し、多様性を受け入れ、前向きで包摂的かつ学生中心の学習環境の形成への貢献。
担当科目によっては、コミュニカティブ・アプローチ、タスク・ベースの指導法、協働学習、プロジェクト型学習、その他の学習者中心の教育手法を用いた授業の実施が求められる場合があります。

[担当授業時間]1週間につき4から8コマ(1科目につき週1回100分)

[応募資格]
１） 必須
1) 専門分野において修士号以上の学位を有する者
2) 大学レベルにおける英語教授の経験を有する者
3) 担当科目を指導する十分な英語力を有する者
4) 他教員と協働し、大学の方針及びカリキュラムを順守することができる者

２） 以下の条件を有する者が好ましい
1) 日本国内の大学において指導経験
2) CEFRレベル(A2-C1)での指導経験
3) アカデミックライティング、プレゼンテーション及びディスカッションスキルの指導経験
4) 大学レベルにおける授業教材の作成経験
5) アクティブラーニング、課題遂行型指導法、コミュニカティブ・アプローチ、またはその他学生中心のアプローチを用いた指導経験
6) 学部のカリキュラムに基づく円滑な連携支援および、他教員と協働した授業運営・シラバス調整の実務経験
7) LMS（学習管理システム）を活用した教材配布・課題管理、および各種教育テクノロジーを用いた効果的な授業展開への知識・運用実績

7. Course(s)
The successful candidate will teach courses in general and academic English.
Examples of courses may include:
1) English AI/AII (1st-year reading/writing)
2) English BI/BII (1st-year listening/speaking)
3) Academic English Alpha I-III (2nd-year academic writing)
4) Academic English Beta I-III (2nd-year academic discussion and presentation)
*Courses may be offered at CEFR A2–C1 level.

8. Teaching Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
1) Prepare and teach English-language classes in accordance with the university curriculum and course syllabus.
2) Develop and/or adapt teaching materials as appropriate.
3) Assess student learning and provide appropriate feedback.
4) Complete grading, attendance records, and other routine course-related administrative tasks.
5) Participate in required meetings.
6) Communicate with the relevant course coordinator and/or faculty members regarding course delivery and student learning.
7) Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.
*Depending on the course, instructors may be expected to use communicative, task-based, collaborative, project-based, or other learner-centered approaches.

9. Teaching Load
From four to eight class(es) per week.
*Each class meets for 100 minutes, once per week.

10. Qualifications
Applicants should normally meet the following requirements:
i. Required
1) A master’s degree or higher in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, English Language Education, Education, or a closely related field.
2) Demonstrated experience teaching English at the university level.
3) Sufficient English-language proficiency to teach the assigned courses effectively.
4) Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and follow university policies and curriculum requirements.

ii. Preferred
Preference may be given to candidates with:
1) Experience teaching Japanese university students.
2) Experience teaching courses at the relevant CEFR level.
3) Experience in teaching academic writing, presentations, and discussion skills.
4) Experience developing university-level teaching materials.
5) Experience using active-learning, task-based, communicative, or other student-centered approaches.
6) Experience working collaboratively within a coordinated university curriculum.
7) Familiarity with educational technology and/or learning management systems.

11. Working Environment
1) The Faculty of Global Management is committed to providing a supportive, inclusive, and professionally stimulating environment for both students and faculty.
2) The successful candidate will join our English program and will work alongside full-time faculty, part-time instructors, course coordinators, administrative staff members, etc.

12. Compensation
1) JPY 28,000-32,000 per class (based on Chuo University’s internal regulations for part-time instructors)
