JOB DESCRIPTION
The Graduate School of Sciences and Technology for Innovation, Research Department of Integrated Arts and Social Sciences, International Liberal Arts Course, English Section is recruiting a full-time faculty member in English linguistics.

The Comparative Studies in Society and Culture Course(国際教養コース) within the Faculty of Integrated Arts and Sciences at Tokushima University offers a comprehensive English education program to train students who have an international perspective and can play an active role globally. Additionally, we have an English teaching licensure course (Type 1 for junior high and high school). To strengthen and develop this program, we are looking for a researcher capable of teaching English language skills and English linguistics to provide students with a global perspective and a practical and meaningful education. We are also looking for a person willing to be proactive in exchanges with overseas partner schools and in contributing to the local community.

College of Liberal Arts: Classes from among Basic English, Thematic English and Communicative English

WORKING HOURS
Working hours :08:30-17:15
Break time :12:00-13:00

Holidays : Saturday, Sunday, National Holiday, From December 29th to January 3rd of the following year

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Degree Requirements
Ph.D. / Doctor
*The applicant must either hold a doctoral degree or an equivalent level of experience.

Work experience
・A high level of English proficiency is required.
・Those whose first language is not Japanese need to have sufficient Japanese language proficiency to be involved in daily campus duties.
・Knowledge, certification and/or experience in English language education is desirable.
