8. Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
1. A master’s degree or equivalent academic achievement.
2. Ability to engage proactively in education and research based on the mission of the Faculty of Global Interdisciplinary Science & Innovation, with a global perspective and willingness to collaborate across disciplines; strong communication skills necessary for university duties.
3. Ability to teach the courses listed above.
4. Significant experience teaching communicative English classes (classes in which students actively develop communicative skills, primarily speaking).
5. Ability not only to manage their own class, but to visualize an entire program and curriculum.
6. A willingness to work with other teachers in developing and managing the curriculum and developing teaching materials.
7. A willingness to do committee work and participate in faculty meetings.
8. Specialization in English Education, English Linguistics, Literature in English, Cross-Cultural Understanding, or related fields.
9. Be a native speaker of English or have equivalent proficiency
10. For applicants whose native language is not Japanese, sufficient Japanese proficiency to perform administrative duties.

- Submit all items except those that cannot be provided as a PDF (e.g., oral presentations).
- For works with summaries, include “【Summary Included】” in the file name.
4. Statement of Teaching and Research Goals (about 2,000 Japanese characters) If applicable, mention administrative duties you have performed and community activities you have engaged in. Items (1) and (2) must be submitted in both PDF and Word formats. For item (3), single-authored books may be submitted in print form.

Submit all application documents via JREC-IN Portal Web Application. Name each file using the designated numbering system. Compress all files into a single folder titled with the applicant’s name in Roman letters.

13. Selection Process
1. After document screening, shortlisted candidates will be invited for an in-person interview (travel expenses not provided).
- Candidates will give a presentation about their teaching experience (in Japanese) and a mock lesson (in English).
