Part-Time English Teacher Position – Chiba, Japan (Immediate Start)

We are a small English conversation school located in Chiba, approximately 30–40 minutes by train from Tokyo. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable teacher who enjoys working with children and is interested in experiencing life in Japan.

The position primarily involves teaching children and young teenagers. Applicants should be comfortable singing songs, leading activities, and creating a fun and engaging learning environment for young learners.

Position Details
Part-time English instructor
Immediate start available
Teaching conversational and basic English
One-year commitment required (contract extensions may be available)
Native-level English proficiency preferred
Lessons are held between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM on weekdays
Approximately 5-10 teaching hours per week
Compensation: ¥1,800–¥2,400 per teaching hour

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
Currently residing in Japan with a valid work visa
Native English-level proficiency is preferred、
Experience teaching children in Japan is preferred
Comfortable working with children
Teaching experience, musical ability, artistic skills, or mathematics knowledge are beneficial but not required
