Vacancy - MYP Language and Literature teacher. M~F Full-time. MYP2~4 (Junior High years 1 to 3) 16 lessons per week. Nagoya, Japan.
Start: September 1, 2026
End: March 31, 2027 (Annual contract renewal upon review. 5 years max.)

Job details: 

1. Job Responsibilities
・MYP Language and Literature teacher.
・M~F Full-time. MYP2~4 (Junior High years 1 to 3) 16 lessons per week.
・Plan lessons, make tests, evaluate and grade students
・Supervise MYP Community Projects and Personal Projects
・Homeroom duties
・Assist at school events, open campuses, etc.

2. Required qualifications:
・Experience teaching junior high
・Native or near-native English proficiency
・Applicants must posses a MASTER's degree or higher in a relevant field

Preferred qualifications:
・Experience teaching in the IB MYP
・Experience teaching English A: Language and Literature
・A valid teaching licence
・Experience working at an international school
・Japanese language ability

3. Salary
Annual salary: JPY 4.25 million to JPY 4.75 million
The final salary will be determined based on the applicant’s educational background, professional experience, and other relevant qualifications.

4. Measures to Prevent Passive Smoking
