Full time English teacher for children and teenagers
Student Age:
Toddlers(5-6 years old)
Children / Preteen(7-12 years old)
Teenagers(13-15 years old)
About us:
Our school is a private English school for children aged 4 to 18. We have about 270 students in total, with a maximum of 14 students per class. Our students attend a 1.5-hour lesson once a week. Classes are shared by one native English full-time teacher and two Japanese full-time teachers. We teach communicative English, utilizing coursebooks tailored to the students' levels. Our goal is to make learning English fun. In addition, by using supplementary materials, we aim to foster our students' creativity and self-expression. Special events include week-long Halloween and Christmas parties, a 3-day summer school trip, and an English card game tournament.

Salary:
270,000 yen/month
Contract:
Renewable 2 year contract / 3 % raise in the third year if the contract is renewed
Working hours:
3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Holidays include Saturdays, Sundays, and Japanese national holidays, along with four weeks of paid vacation per year.
Accommodation:
Fully furnished, one-bedroom apartment (DK) with a separate bath and toilet. It is located 5 minutes by bicycle or a 10-minute walk from the school.
*The rent is 80,000 yen, with 50% subsidized by the school (your cost: 40,000 yen).
Location:
Our school is located in Hanno, Saitama, Japan. Hanno is about an hour's train ride from central Tokyo. It is a pleasant Japanese suburb with a lower cost of living compared to central Tokyo. The area is surrounded by beautiful nature and features traditional Japanese sights.
Requirements:
BA required. TESL/TEFL/CELTA certification or teaching experience preferred.

Teacher training will be provided.
