Full-time duties as a classroom teacher (nursery, preschool, afterschool, eikaiwa). Assessment of student progress, lesson development, care and supervision of students, toilet training, and diaper change.
Qualifications/ Skills:
A bachelor's degree
TESOL/ TEFL certification (preferrable)
A teacher's license for nursery school, kindergarten, elementary school or any child care license is preferable
Experience working at preschool, afterschool or English conversation school is preferable
Ability to apply curriculum principles in practice and to plan effective lessons
Teaching certification or qualification in early childhood strongly preferred
Experience working with young children
Must currently have a valid visa to work and live in Japan.
Days of the week/work schedule:
Time (School opens 7:00am-20:00pm) Main working time: 9:00-18:00 or 10:00-19:00 (depending on the monthly shift)
112 days off per year
At least one day off per week with the schedule for the following month shared with the employee by the 15th of the preceding month.
