Science Teacher

MYP Science Teacher (Bilingual Class)
Proficient level English speakers capable of teaching Science in English

311-1 Kashiwabara Shinden, Sayama City, Saitama, Japan

3. Subjects and Responsibilities
- Teaching IB (MYP) English Science in the bilingual program and IB (MYP) English classes in the mainstream program.
- Preparing lesson plans in accordance with IB standards
- Conducting assessments and preparing student reports
- Participating in school events and extracurricular activities
- Engaging in curriculum development and faculty meetings
- Student guidance and communication with parents
- Conducting supplementary classes/seminars

4. Qualifications
Required: - Bachelor’s degree or higher - Science teaching experience
- High level of English proficiency
- Valid teaching certification

5. Preferred:
- Experience with IB MYP
- Participation in IB workshops
- Experience working at an international school

Support for obtaining a Japanese teaching license is available.

5. Employment Type
Fixed-term contract (renewable annually)

6. Working Hours
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

7. Salary
Annual salary starting from approximately ¥4.2 million (depending on experience)
