Chiba University is looking for 2 - 3 part-time English instructors to teach first- and second-year students, starting October 1st 2026.

- Face-to-face on Nishi Chiba Campus
- First-year and second-year compulsory General Education courses: Writing, Discussion,
Presentation, Critical Thinking in English, English for Specific Fields

Requirements
Applicants should meet all of the following requirements:
(1) Practical English teaching qualification such as CELTA / DELTA / TEFL
(2) Master's degree in a field related to English teaching
(3) Ability to teach classes in English
(4) Experience teaching at a university or junior college in Japan
(5) For non-Japanese applicants, a valid working visa

Retirement age: 65
Interviews will be held in July 2026, face-to-face at Nishi Chiba campus. Unfortunately, travel expenses cannot be reimbursed.
