About the Program

EON Kids Academy is a bilingual English After School Program for elementary school students (Grades 1–6), launched in April 2026 in Tokyo.

The program focuses on developing English proficiency alongside communication, critical thinking, STEAM and Life Skills through structured routines and interactive, inquiry-based learning.

Job Description / Duties
The Full-Time Instructor supports both teaching and daily program operations in a structured, team-based environment.

Teaching & Learning:
- Plan and deliver English-based lessons (phonics, reading, listening, speaking, writing)
- Lead interactive activities, group projects, and STEAM-based learning
- Support seasonal intensive programs (Spring, Summer, Winter)
- Apply differentiated instruction based on student level

Learner Support:
- Provide homework guidance focused on independent learning and study habits
- Support students’ communication, organization, and social development

Classroom Management:
- Maintain a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment
- Manage daily routines, transitions, and student behavior

Curriculum Support:
- Follow lesson plans provided by the Curriculum Creator / Head Instructor
- Prepare teaching materials and provide feedback on lessons

Safety & Supervision:
- Ensure student safety at all times
- Conduct attendance checks and supervise activities
- Support emergency procedures and student movement

Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with teaching and operations staff
- Participate in meetings and training sessions
- Share updates on student progress

Reporting & Evaluation:
- Document student progress and prepare quarterly reports
- Participate in regular performance evaluations based on teaching and classroom standards

Parent Interaction:
- Greet parents and provide basic updates when needed
- Maintain professional communication

Qualifications / 応募資格
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required (any field)
- Education, English, Psychology, or related field preferred
- TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or similar certification is a plus

Experience:
- Minimum 1–2 years experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, afterschool, or childcare)
- Experience teaching group classes
- ESL/EFL experience preferred
- Experience with STEAM or hands-on learning is an advantage

Skills:
- Native English-level proficiency (C1+ or equivalent)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to deliver engaging, structured lessons
- Organized, reliable, and proactive

Working Conditions
Working Hours:
Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (1-hour break included)
Seasonal schedule adjustments may apply

Holidays:
Weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and national public holidays
Approx. 120+ days off per year

Paid Leave:
Annual paid leave and legally mandated leave provided
