Kyoto Sangyo University (Center for General Education) is looking for two native or native-level English instructors (Full-time, limited term).

Full-time (limited term) 4 year contract, renewable for two 3-year terms upon review of work history and accomplishments.(10 Year Maximum)
Instructors will teach twelve 90-minute English communication courses per week. Instructors also need to perform some administrative duties.
Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with knowledge in TESL
Curriculum Vitae on the form supplied by the university(English or Japanese).
Statement of Purpose
Proof of Academic Degree and Two letters of reference
(1) Annual Salary: 4,980,000 yen (415,000 yen per month) + Commutation Allowance
(2) Holidays: Sundays, National Holidays, University Foundation Day (May 4), University-wide Collective leave and New Year’s Holidays (Except when regular classes, examinations, or university events are scheduled.)
(3) Insurance: Private School Mutual Aid System, Employment Insurance, Workers’ Compensation Insurance
(4) Additional provisions governed by Kyoto Sangyo University’s work regulations for Practical English Instructors.
After screening of application documents is complete, short-listed candidates will be called in to the university on June 20th, 2026 or June 21st, 2026 for an interview.
At that time candidates will be asked to present a sample lesson.
