Job Details
The role involves teaching high school students reading, essay writing, grammar, and
public speaking, including presentation skills, as well as developing a curriculum that is appropriate to the age and ability of the students. Ability to use a variety of teaching materials and approaches is required, as the main activity of the class will vary depending on the course and class. The class size ranges from about 10 (a divided class) to 40 (a whole class). Assessing and grading students’ work are included.

Working hours
【Full-time English Teacher】
From 8:30 to 16:30 Monday to Friday, and Saturdays twice a month from 8:30 to 14:00
【Part-time English Teacher】
Basically, hours of teaching, depending on your schedule

Requirements
1. English proficiency at native level
2. Bachelor's Degree
3. Experience in teaching non-native English speakers
4. Currently residing in Japan
5. Two professional references available for contact
※ Japanese language ability is desired but not required.

Salary
【Full-time English Teacher】
Depends on the experience, but compares favorably to ALTs in Ibaraki. Please contact us.
