Position Overview
CSA Japan Co., Ltd. is seeking a Japanese language instructor to teach beginner-level Japanese to American, Australian, and other international university students. Classes will be conducted in person in Shinjuku, Tokyo.

Course Details
· Dates: June 1, 2026 – June 12, 2026
· Level: Beginner
· Class size: Approximately 10–15 students
· Schedule: Monday–Friday. Classes typically run between 9:30 AM and 2:50 PM or 4:40 PM, with scheduled breaks and a lunch break. The first Monday includes a 1–2 hour placement test in the afternoon. The first Friday ends at 12:20 PM.
· Total instruction time: Approximately 45 hours
· Curriculum: Textbook and course syllabus are provided. Instructors may develop daily activities, supplement materials, and adjust pacing as needed. Some cultural activities are included and instructor attendance is optional.

Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver engaging beginner-level Japanese language instruction
• Create daily lesson activities based on the provided textbook and syllabus
• Design assessments and evaluate student performance
• Assign final grades based on provided grading criteria
• Conduct most instruction in English, appropriate for beginner learners

Qualifications
• Native-level Japanese language proficiency (preferred)
• Master’s degree or higher (Lead Instructor position)
• Bachelor’s degree (Teaching Assistant position)
• Experience teaching university-level students preferred
• Ability to teach and communicate in English (advanced proficiency not required)

Payment:
• 170,000 JPY plus local transportation fees
