We are currently accepting applications from Native English-level speakers with teaching experience in Japanese schools for teaching positions at private junior and senior high schools in the Tokyo area, commencing in April 2026.

The basic roles include:
- Teaching a range of English classes at assigned school(s).
- Teaching essay writing skills, grading essays, and providing feedback to students.
- Engaging in solo and/or team teaching.
- Creating innovative and engaging lesson plans.
- Developing and grading examinations and other assessments.
- Participation in school events. (Note: some events may occasionally fall on weekends/national holidays.)
- Maintaining up-to-date records and submitting paperwork in a timely manner.
- Performing other work-related duties as required.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Native English-level speaker.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Experience teaching English at junior and/or senior high schools in Japan.
- Currently residing in the Greater Tokyo area and in possession of a valid work visa for Japan.

Our ideal candidate will also:
- Be creative and flexible.
- Be open to trying new ideas.
- Have excellent knowledge of English spelling and grammar, with strong proofreading skills.
- Be an excellent team player.
- Have a good understanding of the Japanese school system.
- Hold a teaching certificate (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA etc.)
- Be reliable and punctual.

=General Conditions for Part-Time Position=

The remuneration for this part-time position varies based on the number of classes/days assigned. You can expect between ¥3,000 and 4,000 per class, determined by your qualifications, experience, and lesson type. This serves as the basis for calculating your monthly salary, and all transportation expenses will be fully reimbursed.

Depending on the number of lessons assigned, there may be an opportunity to work up to five days per week.
