About King Eikaiwa

King Eikaiwa is a well respected and rapidly growing English school located in Oshikuma Town, Nara City, Kizugawa City, and Kyotanabe City. In January 2025, we opened our fifth branch in Yamatokoriyama City.
Dedicated to providing quality lessons, interactive learning, and memorable experiences, we are seeking a highly motivated teacher to inspire and support both adults and children. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, vibrant, and dynamic team. Only teachers currently residing in Japan are encouraged to apply. Interviews are conducted face to face.

Responsibilities

Deliver lessons based on the curriculum, enabling students to progress steadily, and assist children with in house EIKEN tests and ten textbook tests per year.
Create positive learning environments including resources based on child directed learning.
Develop strategies to guide positive behaviour in children.
Build open communication with children, families, and staff.
Undertake administrative tasks as required.

Required Qualifications

A bachelors degree or higher
Excellent organisational and teamwork skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good computer literacy for computer based lessons
Punctual and reliable
Non smoker

Other Details

Contract: One year minimum followed by an open ended permanent contract.
Longer contracts include pay rises and additional holidays.
