We are currently accepting applications from native English-level speakers with teaching experience in Japanese schools for teaching positions in Japanese educational institutions (junior and senior high schools in Tokyo, Chiba, Saitama and Kanagawa) commencing in April 2026.

The basic roles include:
- Teaching a range of English classes at assigned school(s).
- Teaching essay writing skills, grading essays and providing feedback to students.
- Solo and/or team teaching.
- Creating innovative and engaging lesson plans.
- Developing and grading examinations and other assessments.
- Participation in school events. (Note: These events may occasionally fall on weekends/national holidays.)
- Maintaining up-to-date records and submitting paperwork in a timely manner.
- Other work-related duties.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Native English-level Speaker.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Experience teaching English at junior and/or senior high schools in Japan.
- Currently residing in the Greater Tokyo area and in possession of a valid work visa for Japan.

Our ideal candidate will also:
- Be creative and flexible.
- Be willing to try new ideas.
- Have excellent knowledge of English spelling and grammar with strong proofreading skills.
- Be an excellent team player.
- Have a good understanding of the Japanese school system.
- Hold a teaching certificate (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA etc.)
- Be reliable and punctual.
- Have experience teaching a language other than English.

=General Conditions for Full-time position=

Working schedule:
• 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of occasional weekend work for school events.
• Fixed working hours (generally the hours will be set between 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.) We also have a lesson based schedule that is 5 days per week which does not require the teachers to remain on-site for fixed hours.

Monthly Salary:
• JPY 260,000〜330,000.
The initial salary will be determined based on experience, skills, place of work, a number of classes assigned, and workload.
• Transportation to assigned school(s) will be reimbursed.

=General Conditions for Part-time position=

This varies depending on how many classes/days are assigned. If you are interested in a part-time position, please include your available workdays and times per week in your cover letter.

For both for full-time and part-time positions, we offer a one-year contract starting from April, with the potential to renew, with generous vacations in summer and winter.
