Full-time native-level English preschool teacher in the Tokyo region and Gunma area!

As a preschool/kindergarten teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development and education of young children aged 2 to 6 years old.

Your primary responsibility will be to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow. You will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, fostering social and emotional development, and promoting language and cognitive skills through play-based learning.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities to meet the individual needs and interests of each child.
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
- Observe and assess children’s progress and development, and provide regular feedback to parents/guardians.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s attendance, progress, and milestones. - Promote language development and literacy skills through storytelling, songs, rhymes, and other engaging activities.
- Encourage social skills and cooperation through group activities, sharing, and turn-taking.
- Support children’s physical development through outdoor play, gross motor activities, and sensory experiences.
- Implement positive behavior management strategies and teach conflict resolution skills.
- Stay informed about current best practices and trends in early childhood education, and participate in professional development opportunities as required.
- Assisting duties will also be required of you.

Requirements:
A teacher must be open to moving to any of our locations or schools.
- Native-level English speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A bachelor's degree in child development, early childhood education, or a similar discipline is preferred but not required.
- Working with young children in a preschool or kindergarten setting for at least two years is preferred.
- Knowledge of age-appropriate teaching strategies and the fundamentals of child development.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote holistic development.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. - Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment. - Legal eligibility to work in Japan without visa sponsorship.

Visa sponsorship will be provided if your work visa is about to expire.
