Job details:

Yoyogi Chapters is seeking a kind, encouraging teacher to develop and lead Language Arts lessons for small groups of English-speaking elementary students on Saturday mornings, starting April 2026.

This is not an ESL class—students are already native speakers or speak English at home. Lessons emphasize early literacy foundations—especially phonics—while building reading, writing, and comprehension in a way that helps young learners feel motivated, capable, and confident. Candidates with demonstrated experience teaching early literacy and foundational reading skills to younger elementary students are particularly encouraged to apply.

About us: Yoyogi Chapters is not a school, but a parent-run cooperative that organizes English lessons for children. Learn more: http://www.yoyogichapters.com/
