A private junior and senior high school in Tokyo is seeking Mathematics and Science teachers for its expanding international academic track. Successful candidates will teach Cambridge IGCSE and A Level courses and contribute to the development of a growing international curriculum starting April.
Employment type : Full-time (one-year renewable contract)

Positions available :
1. Mathematics Teacher
2. Science Teacher (Physics / Chemistry / Biology)
Subject allocation will be discussed based on experience and school needs.
Teaching load & duties
• Up to 16 subject classes per week
• Possible homeroom duties
• Support of extracurricular clubs (matched where possible to teacher interests)
• Participation in school events, departmental meetings, Open Schools, and parent information sessions
Work schedule
• School operates Monday to Saturday
o Mon–Fri: 8:20–17:35
o Sat: 8:20–13:35
• Teachers work 5 days per week, except for special occasions
• Working days arranged in consultation with the school, with flexibility where possible
Qualifications & experience
• Recognized teaching certificate from the applicant’s home country (strongly preferred)
• Minimum two years of teaching experience
• Experience with Cambridge IGCSE and/or A Level preferred
• Strong academic background in the relevant subject area
