Nagoya University Institute of Liberal Arts and Sciences is in the process of developing CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) courses curriculum, and is looking to hire an instructor with CLIL experience to help develop and teach such courses.

This is a full-time university faculty position, initially for 3 years, possible extension to 5 years. We are open to applications from early career faculty as well as from senior faculty with a few years before retirement (retirement age at Nagoya University is 65 years).
There are no restrictions on the person’s education/research background, or nationality.
While some Japanese language ability will be helpful, fluency is not required.
The position would be suitable for someone caring for small children (Nagoya University has a flexible work hours policy), and we are actively recruiting women.
Nagoya city (Aichi prefecture) is a great city to relocate to, and it is also easy to commute to (located on the shinkansen line between Tokyo and Osaka).
