Full-time, 40 working hours/week, to 25 teaching/class hours/week, M-F and some Sat. 280,000-330,000yen/month. Homeroom teacher at dual-language secondary school utilizing inquiry-based education and STEAM principles. Perform school administrative duties, English syllabus design, lesson plan and materials development, assessment (paper and listening tests, entrance examinations) and extra curricular activities (school festival, speech contests and clubs). Work location Nagano City. Native level English speaker, BA/BS (Education, TESOL, or Linguistics), and experience as a homeroom teacher required. MA/MS (Education), non-Japanese teaching license, Japanese Teaching license, Tokubetsu Menkyojyou, 2-3 years teaching experience in one's home country or abroad (especially homeroom and English), and N2 ability preferred. SCHOOL PREFERS THAT APPLICANT CURRENTLY RESIDE IN JAPAN. Will sponsor or renew visa. University degree required for renewal or sponsorship. Accommodation: location assistance/support provided.
