We are seeking a dedicated educator to teach Science to junior high school students and Chemistry to senior high school students. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and committed to fostering student learning and growth.

Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:

- Teach Science classes at the junior high school level.
- Teach IBDP Chemistry to senior high school students.
- Participate in and assist with after-school clubs, activities, staff meetings, and school events as required.
- Take part in professional development and training opportunities.
- Assess, record, and report on students’ academic progress.

Qualifications and Requirements
The successful applicant should:

- Hold a B.A. in Science Education, B.S. in Chemistry, or another relevant degree.
- Have a minimum of two years of teaching experience in Science or Chemistry at the junior or senior high school level.
- Ideally have experience teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) students.
- Possess a valid teaching license or teaching qualification from their home country.
- Be highly proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Salary and Benefits
Annual salary: ¥3,800,000 – ¥4,800,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. (This amount includes all bonuses and housing allowances.)

Benefits include: paid holidays, completion bonus, transportation allowance, and training (if required).

Travel Allowance
a) Up to 100,000 yen will be paid to the employee relocating within Japan.
b) Up to 200,000 yen will be paid for travel-related expenses to the employee relocating from overseas.

Accommodation

Type: Included / Partially provided

A housing stipend for rental accommodation is included in the monthly salary.

On-campus dormitories are also available free of charge. Teachers who choose to live in the dormitory will be asked to perform minor evening supervision duties for a small number of dormitory students.

Contract information
1-year (probation), renewable contract
Contracts ordinarily roll over and may be renewed up until retirement.

Visa information
The school will sponsor and renew.
