Job Overview
Immerse Education is hiring Academic Tutors to deliver small-group lessons for students aged 13-18 in Tokyo. Tutors will teach 4 hours per day (Monday–Friday), following an interactive and discussion-based approach. Class sizes are small (7–10 students) to ensure personalized learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver a two-week course using the Immerse Experiential Learning Framework.
- Provide course materials and preparatory tasks before the program.
- Track student attendance and progress.
- Undergo a 45-minute teaching observation for feedback.
- Provide detailed written feedback on each student’s performance.
- Guide students in completing an individual project during the program.

Requirements
- Current PhD candidate or above at the host university (or equivalent) (mandatory).
- Formal experience tutoring or supervising undergraduate students (mandatory).
- Experience in small-group teaching and discussion-based instruction (mandatory).
- Experience teaching non-native English students (preferred).
- Experience teaching 13-18-year-olds (preferred).
- APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK IN JAPAN (VISA/RESIDENCE STATUS).

Contract & Schedule
- Duration: Two, Four, or Six weeks.

Sessions run from June 29 to August 22, 2025.
- Teaching Hours: 40 hours per session (4 hours per day, Monday–Friday).
