EAP (English for Academic Purposes) Instructors to teach Academic Writing and possibly Listening and Reading

Job details: 

・Academic Writing at a university in Ibaraki, Osaka (5 minutes from JR Ibaraki Station)

・Listening and Reading course at Waseda University (taught online)

(a) Academic Writing (Intermediate and Advanced levels, around 25 students per class)
Fifteen 90-minute in-person lessons per semester. These classes are offered in the morning (period 1 and 2, or period 1 on Fridays).

This credit course follows the standard university semester of 15 weeks (one lesson per week). Instructors must be available to teach all 15 lessons and follow a prescribed syllabus for each course. Instructors are also required to compile and submit class attendance and final grade records by a designated deadline

(b) Listening and Reading course (Basic and Intermediate levels, up to 20 students per class)
Fourteen 100-minute online lessons per quarter (twice per week). The class is offered in Tuesdays and Fridays, most likely Period 3, but other periods possible.

This credit course follows the standard university quarter of 7 weeks (two lessons per week). Instructors must be available to teach all 14 lessons in both the Fall and Winter Quarters (28 lessons total). Instructors are also required to compile and submit class attendance and final grade records by a designated deadline

※We are mainly hiring for the position in Ibaraki, Osaka. For interested applicants, we may also offer the Listening and Reading class on top of the Ibaraki, Osaka position.
