Part time teacher in Weekend Prgoram

This job is to teach English to children (ages ranging from 2 to 12 years old) at weekend courses. LCA Weekend Program offers a variety of differentiated English 'immersion' type lessons - regular Eikaiwa courses, musical, programming, and others. At Elementary School, Teachers are required to teach various school subjects in English to offer special experiences as well as opportunities for children to use English creatively. For Preschool, we offer lessons such as English communication, Literacy, Science and other STEM activities, Art and Crafts and Social Skills etc.
We also value multicultural and international viewpoints and try to realize them through our program, which means that our teachers are from a variety of countries. The program curriculum is inspired and curated by LCA International School's education and academic coordinators. It is a unique opportunity both for students and teachers.

Weekend Program for Elementary School Kids
'Half-Day' work (only for AM) is for 4.5 hours (9:00 - 13:30)
'Full-Day' work (AM and PM) is for 7.5 hours. (9:00 - 17:30)
'Floater' is an assistant teacher who assists big classes, events and projects. If a regular teacher is absent, the floater pitches in as a substitute teacher and gets paid as a full-time teacher. (9:00 - 13:00)
Basically every Saturday (on average 3 Saturdays a month).

Working Conditions
Payment: The minimum salary (￥1500) is for a trainee.
Teacher's salary starts from ￥2000(Floater), and depending on the quality of the job it will go up to ￥2700.
Pay raise is determined by a regularly conducted work appraisal, and usually happens once a year at the renewal of the contract.

Preferred Qualifications
・Teaching English experience (Preschool/Kindergarten teacher experience preferred)
・Native English-level proficiency is preferred.
