Position type: Part time (one semester-based contract)
Visa Requirement: This position is only available to applicants who are eligible to work in Japan (the position does not include visa sponsorship).
Period: Spring semester 2022 (January 17, 2022 to April 22, 2022) with the possibility to continue in the following semester(s).
Work Hours: Classes offered at TUJ meet three times a week on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule, or twice a week on a Tuesday and Thursday schedule. Applicants who can teach on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 08:30-09:50, or on Tuesday and Thursday from 08:10-11:10 are preferred, but we will also consider applicants who can teach in the evenings.
Salary & benefit: In accordance with the pay scale determined and used in the program.

Teaching Fields: Freshman Composition, TESOL, ESL Academic Writing.
Qualifications & Experience:
The candidates must be fluent in English, hold at least a master’s degree in TESOL, English rhetoric, composition, linguistics or other related subjects. Candidates should also have at least three years of experience teaching writing/composition in an American university, including at least one year of online teaching.
