Part-time English teaching positions available at Tokyo Kasei University

The Department of English Communication at Tokyo Kasei University is currently seeking instructors to teach part-time classes from April 2021. 

Available classes:
• Intensive English for Hospitality A, spring semester (four classes available)
• Intensive English for Hospitality B, fall semester (four classes available)
• Intensive English for Education A, spring semester (one class available)
• Intensive English for Education A, fall semester (one class available)

Intensive English for Hospitality A and B meet two times a week. Intensive English for Education A meets once a week.

Each class is 100 minutes long. Applicants should be available two days a week Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:
Candidates must 
1. be highly proficient in English and able to teach in English.
2. hold a master’s degree in TESOL, applied linguistics, or a related field.
3. OR hold a master’s degree in any other subject, and an initial teaching qualification (e.g. CELTA).
4. OR hold a master’s equivalent professional diploma (e.g. Cambridge Delta, Trinity DipTESOL).
5. have more than three academic publications and university-level teaching experience.
6. hold a valid visa for teaching at the university level.

• Candidates wishing to teach the Intensive English for Education A class should hold a master’s degree in TESOL or English education.

Salary and benefits:
In accordance with the part-time teaching rate of the university.
