Summer school English teacher 230,000 cash - possibly continue full-time (Nara & Kizugawa)

Job details: 

Short summer school contract:
- July 21st to August 29th (4 weeks excluding the Obon vacation)
- Bean to cup coffee machine at your disposal
- Must be a have native English-level proficiency
- Must currently be in Japan and have a working visa
- Must be able to come for an interview in Kizugawa or Nara
- Must be able to commute to Kizugawa and Nara
- Working at three branches to cover make-up lessons from COVID-19 school closure and Summer School lessons
- 40 hours per week with a maximum 25 classes of 50 minutes weekly
- Working days: Five days a week: Tues-Fri 12pm-9pm, Sat 11am-8pm
- Commute fee paid/free parking

If continuing to a full-time contract:

•Deliver lessons based on the curriculum enabling the students to progress steadily and assist the kids in passing the regular in-house EIKEN tests and ten yearly textbook tests.
•Create positive learning environments including resources based on child-directed learning.
•Develop strategies to guide positive children's behaviour.
•Build good, open communication with children, families and staff.
•Undertake administrative tasks as required.

You will need:

•A bachelor’s degree or higher
•Fantastic organisational and teamwork skills
•Sound written and verbal communication skills
•A good level of computer literacy for computer-based lessons
•Be punctual and reliable

Other details:
End date: One year minimum contract followed by open-ended/permanent contract. No end date specified (the longer the better - more pay and holidays)
Working days: Five days a week
Tues-Fri 12pm-9pm
Sat 11am-8pm
And the occasional Sunday for special events
