Thank you for your interest in working for Project Genius, a joint concern of Londate Limited and Korakuen English Centre. We aim to be the premier English language consultancy firm for private secondary schools in Japan.
Our client school for this position is a private school located in Yokohama Midori Ward, Kanagawa. The nearest station is Tokaichiba Station of JR Yokohama Line. Also, buses are available from Aobadai Station of Denentoshi Line and Mitsukyo Station of Sotetsu Line. We are looking for someone who currently lives within a reasonable door-to-door commuting distance to the school campus.
This is a full time position and working days are a bit irregular.
Working days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and SATURDAY.
SATURDAY is a HALF day so this is a kind of semi full time position. We ONLY want to interview candidates who specifically understand this irregular weekly working schedule.
The salary is 260,000 yen per month and we provide the Japanese insurance and pension package. Of course, we reimburse your transportation cost. The actual lesson number per week is not many this year. There are around 11 lessons a week only (this is subject to change due to COVIT 19 problem). But there are some irregular lessons for someone who wants to join exchange program, apply for overseas universities and others.
This position starts from May 2020, however, this is negotiable. Please note that the start of actual lessons may be delayed but on-line lessons will be substituted in such case.
We want our instructors to be proactive in solving problems but our experienced executive team is always available to our instructors to provide constructive advice, feedback, and support.
Interviews will be held through Skype because of the current Covid 19 situation. We will begin to contact select applicants to interview for this position as soon as we begin receiving applications.
