A non-profit organization formed 40 years ago to provide educational services to Japanese children living overseas and for when they return to Japan.

We are looking for professional English teachers in KOBE 

Job Description:
•Teaching English to returnee students.
•The classes are divided into four groups by grade, 2nd / 3rd & 4th / 5th & 6th / and 7th, 8th & 9th grades. These groups are then divided into further groups by ability.
•JOES will provide the core materials for your classes, but we expect our teachers to be able to develop their own suitable materials over time and to be able to plan their lessons in advance for each term.

•We are looking for professional English teachers who have a long term commitment to Japan and who can commit themselves to working on Saturdays in our academic year (there is the possibility of evening classes, too).
•Experience and an enthusiasm for teaching children from second grade to ninth grade is an advantage.
•A teaching license is an advantage.
•A suitable visa. We do not provide sponsorship for visas.

Working Hours:
 10:00 ~16:00 on Saturdays (3or4 lessons/day) during the academic year.
* One lesson will be 90 minutes.  

≪Academic year ≫
Term 1; April to July ( 13days )
Term 2; September to December ( 13days )
Term 3; January to March ( 10 days )

 First term (probationary period) : \7500 / lesson (90min) before tax
 From second term : \8000 / lesson(90min) before tax
* Round-trip transportation from your home to the school will be paid for each school day.
