Part-time teaching position, Gakushuin University, Tokyo (9/12)

Foreign Language Teaching and Research Centre of Gakushuin University is looking for motivated English part-time teachers.

Job details: 

We are inviting applications from motivated English teachers who are either:
1) Native English-level proficiency, or
2) Native Japanese-level proficiency

Teaching Positions:
90-minute English communication and English reading classes for undergraduates, held once per week for 2x15-week semesters (courses are year-long from April to January).

Days and times of classes are negotiable, and pay depends on qualifications and experience. Positions are offered on a yearly basis, and are renewable by mutual agreement.

Qualifications:
Applicants must:
1. be native speakers of English, or have near-native proficiency with experience living in an English-speaking country OR
be native speakers of Japanese with near-native proficiency in English and experience of living in an English-speaking country
2. hold a Master’s degree or higher, in TESOL or a related field
3. have at least 3 years of teaching experience at university level in Japan
4. have published academic articles
