Laurus International School of Science offers a STEM curriculum to elementary school students at several locations across the Tokyo and Yokohama areas. The Shiroganedai Campus is looking for homeroom teachers to continue to deliver the high-quality, science and math centered course of study. Working in concert with a Japanese teacher, homeroom teachers are also involved in the broader school community principally in charge of some club activities.
**Please note this position starts in March 2019.
As a Homeroom Teacher you can expect to:
Teach mathematics, English, social studies and art lessons
Manage club activities
Participate in school events
4.2 to 4.8 million yen annual salary with one bonus
Monday to Friday schedule with summer, New Years and Golden Week holidays
International working environment (70% foreign national staff) with small class sizes and dynamic curriculum

Small student to teacher ratio of 10 students to one teacher
